5 PRO-13 personnel feted for performance

BUTUAN CITY – Five Police Regional Office-13 personnel were awarded for their performance in a ceremony at the regional headquarters here on Monday, November 13.

Police Capt. Charles Evan T. Gatchalian and Police Staff Sergeant Rhayan E. Mandigma received the Medalya ng Kagalingan for the arrest of the most wanted person for statutory rape in Barangay Basag here on August 12.

Police Capt. Saldy C. Maestre and Police Staff Sgt. Ian Kinnets R. Alguno were also awarded the same medal for the arrest of the most wanted person in Agusan del Sur for rape in Barangay Duangan, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur on October 1.

Civilian personnel Irwin M. Olano was bestowed the Medalya ng Papuri for demonstrating efficiency, loyalty, and dedication in his nine years and two months as assistant crime registrar and assistant PCR at Taganaan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and planning assistant at the Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft commended these PRO-13 personnel for their dedication and hard work.

“I thank each of you for your continuous dedication and hard work in support of our mission to maintain peace and order and ensure public safety in the region,” he said. “May these awards be an inspiration to the other police on the ground to also work at their best.”

Department of the Interior and Local Government-Caraga, Assistant Regional Director Donald A. Seronay was the guest of honor and speaker of the awarding.
