The Department of Health (DOH) logged 1,132 new Covid-19 infections starting Nov. 7 until Monday, Nov. 13.

DOH said that these cases indicated a 21 percent "rise" with an average daily count of 162 cases compared to the previous week or from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6.
Based on the latest data, 12 of the newly reported cases have been classified as "severe” or “critical.”
The DOH, however, showed no additional Covid-19-related deaths occurred between Oct. 31 and Nov. 13.
DOH also said that hospitals across the country had admitted a total of 246 severe and critical Covid-19 patients for treatment.
Of the 1,423 ICU beds designated for Covid-19 patients, 164 of them, or 11.5 percent, are currently occupied.
DOH also noted that 2,262 out of 12,352 non-ICU Covid-19 beds, constituting 18.3 percent, are also in use.
The health department urged the public to remain vigilant in the face of the ongoing Covid-19 threat, emphasizing the importance of adhering to public health standards, such as wearing masks, seeking well-ventilated areas, and isolating immediately if symptomatic under Alert Level 1.
Moreover, DOH reported that approximately 78 million people in the country had received Covid-19 vaccinations, exceeding the target population by 100.44 percent.
