Credit cards are meant to make life easier for owners.
Not for actresses Carla Abellana and Arci Muñoz.
They recently shared with fans separate muddles involving them and their credit cards.
On social media, Carla expressed apparent exasperation finding out that her credit card had been charged a huge amount.
“Lord, how will I pay for the $11,087.33 that was charged to my BDO Mastercard?” she wrote on Threads.

The actress didn't share details but made manifest her hopelessness about it in subsequent posts.
“Heartbreaking,” she posted, following it up with “Losing hope...” a little later.
Meanwhile, Arci, took to TikTok to share a scary experience while flying home to the Philippines after a vacation in Japan recently.
Yes, you guessed it. It involves her credit card.
She is not sure, but she believes a man she described as "nakaayos, maporma" and wearing "magarbong luxury items" might have stolen it.
According to Arci, she first saw the man lingering outside her personal cubicle.
"I was resting in my cubicle and then of course, when it's time to land, nagising ako, naalimpungatan ako, may lalaking nakatayo sa cubicle ko," she recalled.
Arci admitted she didn't worry at first, this, even as the man went on to get a magazine from her cubicle.

"Inisip ko lang na baka wala siya nung magazine sa cubicle ko," Arci remarked.
Thankfully, a perceptive woman nearby was quick to act.
"This woman—she was sent by God—she asked me, 'Do you know this guy?' and I was like, 'No.' And then she stood up, and she confronted the man saying, 'Why did you touch her bag?'"
"Ako naman, sabi ko, 'Bakit nawawala bag ko?' And then I saw my bag on the floor near the aisle, e, sa window seat ako nakaupo," she continued.
Arci and the woman called a flight attendant to report the incident, but the man denied ever touching her bag.
"So I was thinking, 'Ano ito, modus nila talaga ako? Sumasakay sila ng business class, they fly?'"
Arci did not report the incident to authorities as she was in a rush to get home. Little did she know that she had already lost one of her credit cards.
It was only after two days that the actress was alerted by her bank.
"May notification sa bank ko na someone was using my card sa Ho Chi Minh sa Vietnam and Jakarta," she said.
Arci is thankful that her bank, BDO, was quick to take the necessary action.
She then warned fans: "It's a dangerous world out there. So you have to be safe, you have to be alert, to be careful, mindful of your things. I'm doing this video lang para lang (malaman ng lahat na) may mga ganitong modus kahit sa eroplano. The world is not a safe place."
Indeed.
