Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, Congressman Edwin Olivarez, received a high performance rating in the “Boses ng Bayan” survey of RP-Mission Development Foundation (RPMD) conducted between Sept. 20 and Sept. 30.

The RPMD study provided profound insights on the leadership efficacy of city mayors within the National Capital Region (NCR).

Mayor Eric got a 92.3 percent job rating performance for extraordinary governance. Sharing the second spot with him were Navotas City's John Rey Tiangco with 92.7%, Along Malapitan of Caloocan City with 92.5%, and Emi Calixto-Rubiano of Pasay City with 92.1%.

According to Dr. Paul Martinez, global affairs analyst and executive director of RPMD, the evaluation of City Mayors hinges on seven pivotal criteria: service delivery, financial acumen, economic progress, leadership governance, environmental conservation, social initiatives, and engagement with constituents.

Congressman Edwin ranked No. 5 in the “Boses ng Bayan” survey of RPMD with 85.7 percent job performance rating.

The RPMD said the exhaustive analysis attests to the relentless dedication and unwavering commitment of Representatives to their mandates and the people they serve.

"Congratulations to the distinguished Representatives who have excelled in their roles. This survey underscores your exceptional commitment and unwavering dedication to our nation and its citizens," said Martinez.

"Your accomplishments not only set a higher benchmark for public service but also serve as a beacon of inspiration for your peers in governance. We applaud your exemplary efforts and eagerly anticipate your sustained passion and commitment to forging a prosperous path for our country," Martinez added.

The Olivarez brothers thanked the people of Parañaque for the trust and confidence on their services to the city.

"Isa pong karangalan na mapaglingkuran ang ating bayan bilang representante ng unang distrito ng Lungsod ng Parañaque. Basta’t tayo po ay nagtutulong tulong, ang panalo ay ang taong bayan," (It is an honor to serve the city as your Congressman for the first district. As long as we help each other, the winner is the people of Parañaque,” Cong. Edwin said.
