Ticket bought in Nueva Ecija yields latest lotto millionaire


The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Sunday, Nov. 12, that a solo player who purchased the winning ticket in Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija, had won the P116 million Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot.

The lone bettor correctly guessed the winning number combination 52-08-41-11-27-31, securing a jackpot of P116,554,053.80 in the evening draw on Nov. 11.

As the jackpot prize surpassed P10,000, the PCSO said that it would undergo a 20 percent tax deduction according to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.

Under the Republic Act (RA 1169) or the PCSO Charter, if the jackpot prize remains unclaimed one year from the date of the draw, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund.

The Grand Lotto 6/45 draw is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
