PSE to hold last Investor Day for 2023

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) announced that it will be hosting its first third quarter Investor Day with nine publicly-listed companies (PLCs) planning to share their respective performances for the period.

In a statement, the bourse said the latest batch of listed firms will join the last edition of PSE STAR Investor Day for 2023 set on Nov. 15 to 16.

Executives of featured PLCs will share their third quarter 2023 financial results, strategic initiatives and growth prospects in a two-day virtual briefing that is open to fund managers, equity analysts, shareholders and prospective investors.

Leading the roster of the November 2023 run of PSE STAR are Balai ni Fruitas, Inc., Cebu Landmasters, Inc., Citicore Energy REIT Corp., Figaro Coffee Group, Inc., Jollibee Foods Corporation, Megaworld Corporation, Merrymart Consumer Corp., Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, and PSE.

“In the pilot year of PSE STAR, we only had first and second quarter briefings. We are hosting for the first time a third quarter Investor Day for participating PLCs since we aim to have a PSE STAR session every earnings period,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

He added that, “as in previous PSE STAR editions, we have a good mix of companies from different industries, including big cap and SME stocks as well as those that have been listed for decades already to PLCs that only debuted in the last year or so.”

Apart from the live company presentations and Question and Answer portion with executives of the featured firms, recorded briefings of PLCs from previous PSE STAR editions will also be made available on the event website.

Meanwhile, analysts from Bloomberg will provide their outlook on the economy and the financial, food & beverage, property and retail sectors.

PSE STAR is co-hosted by Bloomberg LP, with the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and the Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) as partners.
