Lucky ticket worth P10.8-M jackpot bought in Iloilo lotto outlet

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Sunday, Nov. 12, announced that the winning ticket for the P10.8-million Lotto 6/42 jackpot was sold at a lotto outlet in Santa Barbara, Iloilo City.

The sole bettor successfully matched the winning number combination 03-28-17-11-26-16, securing a jackpot of P10,874,702.20 in the evening draw on Nov. 11.

Since the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, PCSO said it would be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.

Under the Republic Act (RA 1169) or the PCSO Charter, if the jackpot prize remains unclaimed one year from the date of the draw, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund.

The Lotto 6/42 draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
