Vice Ganda emotional as he slams judgemental netizens

Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda got emotional about his partner Ion Perez on "It's Showtime" as he defended him from bashers on social media.

Vice Ganda was teary-eyed as he spoke out against netizens who were being "judgemental" towards Ion, durng the Magpasikat competition on “It’s Showtime” today (Nov.11).

"Araw-araw kasama ko yan di ba? Alam ko kung gaano siya sinasaktan ng social media. Everyday he's being judged. Kung ano siya, saan siya galing, paano siya magsalita, ano yung nakikita s akanya ng klaseng relasyon na meron siya.

"Every day, he's being judged. Araw-araw lumalaban yan. Araw-araw lumalaban. Araw-araw nasasaktan Basta hindi ninyo alam kung ano ang epekto nito kay Ion at sa akin. Hindi nyo alam," Vice Ganda.

The ace comedian expressed his pride in Ion, regardless of any negative opinions. 

"Ang alam n'yo lang ay yung nakikita ninyo pero hindi ninyo alam. Kaya araw di ba sinabi ko sa'yo mamahalin kita? Kakampihan kita araw-araw. Ipagdarasal kita araw araw, yayakapin kita araw-araw, dadamayan kita araw-araw. Araw-araw sasamahan kita. Mahal kita. Proud na proud ako sa'yo," Vice Ganda added.

The team of Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, and Ion Perez was hailed as the grand champion in this year’s Magpasikat competition on “It’s Showtime” today (Nov.11) as their performance about the responsible use of social media and technology earned the highest score from the judges.

Team JKI showcased a glimpse of how social media can destroy relationships, family, and oneself if not used properly. They also wowed the viewers with their parkour and acrobatic skills. They won P300,000, which they will give to their chosen charity.

Taking home the second place was the team of Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang, who sympathized with the people struggling and healing. The team won P200,000 for their chosen charity. The team of Vhong Navarro, Teddy Corpuz, and Jugs Jugueta got third place and won P100,000 for paying tribute to the late comedians of the Philippines. 

Both the teams of Vice Ganda, Jackie Gonzaga, Cianne Dominguez and Karylle, Amy Perez, Lassy, and MC won P50,000 for their chosen charities. 

The panel of judges was also comprised of FDCP chairperson and actor Tirso Cruz III, award-winning director Olivia Lamasan, rapper and singer Apl.De.Ap, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, and The Dawn's frontman Jett Pangan.
