The 25-year-old Pagdanganan shot five birdies against four bogeys to post a two-round tally to 136, eight strokes behind solo leader Emily Pedersen of Denmark.
The Tokyo Olympian, who had a first round 67, tied with eight others that include veteran Lydia Ko, who also shot with a 69.
Ardina, for her part, tried to make it up from a disappointing 74 in the opening round, but failed to advance to the next round by only one shot.
She blasted five birdies but fumbled with a lone bogey on the par-4 fourth hole.
Pederson, meanwhile, shot a five-under 65 to seize a two-stroke lead going to the last two rounds.
She leads Japan's Minami Katsu with Jasmine Suwannapura of Thailand three shots off the lead.
The event was rebranded this year to be named for Swedish legend Annika Sorenstam, who won 72 LPGA titles, including 10 major crowns.
