Chery Tiggo got over its scrappy start and escaped PLDT, 14-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-19, in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Second All-Filipino Conference on Saturday night, Nov. 11, at the Philsports Arena in Pasay City.

Eya Laure led the balanced effort for Chery Tiggo anew and top-scored with 18 points highlighted by 16 attacks.
EJ Laure and Pauline Gaston, for their parts, had 13 and 12 points respectively.
Meanwhile, Mylene Paat and Cza Carandang added 11 and 10 markers, respectively, on the winning end.
Chery Tiggo bucked an opening-set loss and pulled away late in the fourth set to come away with the victory.
Paat came through with a huge block on Savannah Davison late in the game before drilling in a crosscourt hit to bring the Crossovers to the match point, 24-19.
Jasmine Nabor then punctuated it with the game-winning 1-2 play.
Savannah Davison put PLDt on her back and delivered 16 points in the losing effort.
