Bulacan farmers learn new technologies in vegetable production
Bulacan Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro graced on Friday, Nov. 10, the Farmers' Field School (FFS) on Vegetable Production graduation ceremony held at Antonio Heights Covered Court in Barangay Poblacion, Norzagaray, Bulacan.
“Ang ating industriya ay suki ng mga sakunang pangkalikasan, ngunit dahil sa yaman ng ating lupa ay patuloy tayong nakapagpapatubo ng pananim at nakapag-aani pa rin nang masagana (Our industry frequently experience natural disasters, but because of the richness of our soil, we continued to grow vegestables and harvest abundantly)," he said during his speech.

Castro thanked the Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) in Bulacan led by its department head Gloria SF. Carillo, which shared the tested procedures for planting vegetables with Bulakenyo farmers in order to learn and be full agricultural contributors in the province.
More or less 30 Norzagaray farmers have received certificates for completing their 12-week Farmer Field School course, an initiative of PAO Bulacan with the full support of the Regional Agriculture Office in Central Luzon.
The training aimed to increase the knowledge of Bulacan farmers of new technologies in vegetable planting.
