Muntinlupa LGU congratulates student for bagging gold medal at Asian Music Games

The Muntinlupa City government congratulated a student for winning a gold medal at the recent Asian Music Games 2023 held in Indonesia.

The Muntinlupa City Council passed Resolution 2023-341 honoring Mhico Aish Cortel, a resident of Barangay Poblacion and a student of Tunasan National High School, for bagging a gold medal in the individual solo guard senior class (male) category of the Asian Music Games.

The Asian Music Games is a flagship event of the Asian Marching Band Confederation, which is “Biggest Virtual Music and Visual Competition that organizes and presents individual, duet and group performances in various categories from all over Asia,” according to the resolution.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon signed the resolution.

This year, the competition was held in East Java, Indonesia that “showcased various competition categories including the Marching Field Snow, Concert Band, Marching Music Battle, Individual and Street Parade.”

“The Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Muntinlupa is extending its heartfelt congratulations to all the Muntinlupeno Athletes especially to Mr. Mhico Aish Cortel for bringing honor and prestige to the City of Muntinlupa and serve as epitome of music brilliance, excellence, and inspiration to our youth.”
