Woman yields P1-M 'shabu' in Dasma parking lot buy-bust

CAVITE – A high-value individual was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in a supermarket parking lot in Dasmariñas City on Thursday, Nov. 9.

The operation conducted by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 4A, Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and Dasmariñas City Police Station collared a woman identified as alias Jerwin, 35 years old.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were a plastic bag containing suspected “shabu” valued at P690,000, and a piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic bag of the same substance, valued at P345,000.

The suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for drug dependency examination and chemical analysis.

In a statement, Police Regional Office 4A Director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth T. Lucas commended the operating units and thanked members of the community who provided reliable information about the whereabouts of this suspect and her illegal transactions.
