Parañaque mayor congratulates BSKE winners

The Parañaque City government congratulated the 16 barangay chairman who won in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) held on Monday, Oct. 30.

Mayor Eric Olivarez assured the winners of full support from the city government to better uplift the lives of city residents through various program, projects, and services.

Olivarez said the partnership with the city government is the best key for every winning barangay chairmen to better serve their constituents in their areas.

He said two barangay chairmen, his sister Eva Olivarez of Barangay San Dionisio, and the former chief of staff of Rep. Edwin Olivarez, Mar Jimenez of Barangay Don Bosco, already took their oath of office on Tuesday, Oct. 31,  at the Mayor’s Office.     

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) released the name of winning village chairmen from the city’s 16 barangays on Wednesday, Nov. 1

The winning village chairmen for District I were: June Zaide of Baclaran; Marilyn Burgos, of Don Galo; P.A. Velaso of La Huerta, Eva Olivarez of San Dionisio, Noel Japlos of San Isidro; Johnny Co, of Sto. Nino, Jenn Quizon of Tambo and Alexander Alvarez of Vitalez.

 The winning candidates for District II Barangays were: Jeremy Marquez, BF Homes; Mar Jimenez, Don Bosco; Ian Aguilar of Marcelo Green; AD Bernabe of Merville; Doc Jem Qui of Moonwalk, Kapitan Pol Casale of San Antonio; Thelma Singson of San Martin de Porres and Chaky Coryez of Sun Valley.
