5 cluster precincts transferred to mall voting site - Parañaque Comelec

The Parañaque Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that the voting center for five clustered precincts in the city will be transferred to SM City Sucat for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE).

The local Comelec office in District 1 said in an advisory on Oct. 9 that the five cluster precincts that previously voted at the Parañaque National High School – Main will now vote at SM City Sucat as part of the Mall Voting Precinct initiative of Comelec.

The Parañaque Comelec noted that a total of 1,874 registered voters will vote at SM Sucat in the upcoming BSKE election on Oct. 30.

Comelec allows voting precincts in malls as it will provide general "accessibility and convenience" to the public especially for the vulnerable sector, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and pregnant women.
