Senior citizen shot dead in Batangas

SAN JOSE, Batangas – A 62-year-old senior citizen was gunned down in Sitio Pulong Usiw, Barangay Bigain, this town, on Saturday night, October 7.

Police identified the victim as Rolando Limbo, alias “Galman,” a farmer, and resident of the area.

Investigation said the victim was walking on a pathway when he was suddenly shot twice by an unidentified gunman who immediately fled.

Police recovered an empty shell of a caliber .9mm pistol and a slug at the crime scene.

Further investigation about the incident is ongoing.
