One of the most effective ways to learn is by making mistakes and experiencing failures in life. A lot of Filipinos fail to achieve their dreams due to giving up easily. Every day, we face various challenges and setbacks. Many people give up after their first failure in life. But Maxine Misa, founder of Max Beaut Advance Aesthetics, continues her journey to reach her goals.

"Being in the beauty business industry at a very young age (28), I've had countless failures. However, I don't see them as a failure, they were steps for me for more opportunities," Maxine said.

Maxine believes that her greatest achievement in life is being a mom while being the best she can be outside of our home. She is a single mother with two children: Amanda Mary, 5; and Caleb Daxton, 2.

"In order to be successful yourself, you need to help other people in their path towards success. Achievements aren’t easy but if you know the secrets to success, achievements are no big deal. Honesty, consistency, and determination are some major factors for you to be successful in life" shared Maxine.

She also added that she wanted to change the lives of those who are around her in her own way for the better. She is determined to do everything for her to build a more extended table and be able to help more Filipinos.

"Success is a journey, not a destination and we have our own path to success. We should not follow others’ paths but make our own. Just keep going and enjoy the ride. Do what you can do now," said Maxine.
