Kapuso stars Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, and Boobay are safe in Israel and preparing to leave for Manila due to the ongoing conflict.

In a social media post, Maris Gonsalez declared that Rayver, Julie, Boobay, and the Kapuso team are safe. She also shared some snaps taken at the airport.

"Good morning mga Kababayan ko dito sa Israel. Naihatid na namin ng maayos at ligtas sa airport. We will keep you guys posted sa new date ng concert natin once naging maayos na ang sitwasyon dito sa Israel. Maraming salamat po. Keep safe po sa ating lahat," wrote Maris.

 

 

Prior, the Kapuso stars were stranded in Israel after their concert in Tel Aviv was canceled due to the formal declaration of Israel to wage war against Hamas last Sunday. The Kapuso stars stayed in Israel for almost a week when their show was finally canceled.

Netizens also prayed for the safety of the Kapuso stars.

On Oct. 8, Sparkle GMA Artist Center issued an official statement on the situation of the Kapuso stars in Israel.

"SPECIAL ADVISORY: In view of the recent reports we are getting from Tel Aviv, the management of Sparkle would like to announce that Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Boobay and the Sparkle Team, who are currently in Israel now for a concert are all safe. The show for tonight was already canceled, and the whole GMA team will leave for Manila as scheduled. We thank everyone for their well wishes as we pray for their continued safety and protection."

Days before the concert, Rayver and Julie shared photos of their visit to some of the historic landmarks in Israel.
