Being named the Star of the New Generation, award-winning actress Jillian Ward is a woman of many talents. Starting her acting career at a young age, Jillian also became a head-turner when it came to beauty product endorsements.

During their Zoom press conference for the upcoming new season of the fantasy show "Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko," Jillian was asked if she was open to joining a beauty pageant.

"Well hindi po kasi talaga ako passionate sa mga beauty pageant, ewan ko po para sa akin baby pa lang ako buong buhay ko pag-aartista na po talaga ang gusto ko, eto po talaga yung nasa puso ko," Jillan said. 

(Well, I'm really not passionate about beauty pageants. I don't know because for me, ever since I was young, acting is what I really want, this is what's in my heart) 

The 18-year-old actress added that venturing into her creative side, such as acting and singing, is the primary focus. 

"Siguro mas makikita niyo po ako sa film industry, siguro po more movies, more shows and siguro po music kasi ipupursue ko na po yung talent ko when it comes to singing," she added. 

(You may see me more in the film industry, maybe more movies, more shows, and maybe music because I will pursue my talent in singing.) 

Although Jillian is not currently interested in joining a beauty pageant, she is open to the possibility in the future.

Jillian returns to 'Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko'

Playing the role of Captain Kitty on the newest season of 'Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko,' Jillian mentioned that this is her first time doing an action project as a dalaga.

"Ngayon po being dalaga, ito po yung first ko na action role, and nakakatuwa dito kasi from previous costumes laging may purple yung damit ko, hindi ko po alam kung bakit, pero I'm super excited po ako to portray this character kasi super gaan niya lang unlike from character in 'Abot kamay ang pangarap','' Jillian said. 

Joining her on the upcoming series are Gabby Eigenmann as Dr. Tom and Sparkle stars Archie Alemania as Caloy, Angela Alarcon as Coach Abby, Kim Perez as Marty, and Shuvee Etrata as Feline.

"Captain Kitten" tells the story of Kat, a high school student who volunteers to protect stray animals. She rescues and brings them to her favorite pet cafe. In the cafe, Kat meets Dr. Tom, a veterinarian who runs a nearby clinic.

Unbeknownst to Kat, Dr. Tom and her friend, Marty, are operating a secret laboratory where animals are being caged, hurt, and used for experiments. 

One night, Kat searches for her beloved cat, only to find out that it was taken inside the illegal clinic. As she tries to let Mingming escape, Kat gets scratched by the cat.

Days later, Kat suddenly acquires the instincts of a cat. Will Kat be able to rescue the animals from Dr. Tom's secret laboratory?
