Parañaque LGU holds mega job fair

The Parañaque City government conducted a Mega Job Fair for the job seekers from the city at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Barangay Tambo, Paranaque City on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Paranaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the activity opened 3,000 job openings from 65 companies including four overseas agencies and 11governement agencies.

He said that 271 jobseekers attended the event where 107 applicants were hired on-the-spot.

The mayor said the activity on Saturday was the fourth mega job fair conducted by the city government this year.

Olivarez said the city government conducted mega job fair on February in celebration of Paranaque’s Cityhood Anniversary followed by the activities held in celebration of Labor Day on May 1, and on June 12 (Philippine Independence Day).
