Actor Ricardo Cepeda arrested for alleged estafa

Known for his kontrabida roles on several teleseryes, Ricardo Cepeda (whose real name Ricardo Cepeda Go), was arrested by the authorities of Caloocan City for syndicated estafa.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said that members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) arrested Ricardo in a resto-bar on Mabini St, Maypajo last Saturday at 11 a.m.

Regional Trial Court Branch 12 Executive Judge Gemma P. Bucayu-Madrid issued the arrest warrant in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan.

QCPD's acting director, Police Brigadier General (PBGen) Redrico Maranan lauded the CIDU operatives for the arrest.

Maranan said that the police are still looking for other people allegedly involved in the case.

"Patuloy din po ang inyong kapulisan sa paghahanap sa mga wanted persons para ma siguro ang kaligtasan ng bawat isang mamamayan," PBGen Redrico Maranan said, according to a report by GMA News.

(The police will also continue to search for wanted persons so that every single citizen can be safe)

As of this writing, there are still no further details about Ricardo's case. He is still under the custody of QCPD.
