35-day PRO-13 Criminal Investigation Course underway

CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The third Criminal Investigation Course led by the Police Regional Office-13 started in this camp on Thursday, October 5.

Forty-five police and Coast Guard personnel joined the 35-day course.

Resource speakers are experts in various fields of investigation and law from the Philippine National Police and other law enforcement agencies, Judiciary, academic institutions, and the private sector.

PRO 13-Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division-13 is overseeing and facilitating the success of this specialized training.

“With the advancement of technology and the complexity of crimes, PNP personnel must have a higher standard of knowledge and skills, especially in the field of investigation,” PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said.

“We also aim for the full utilization of the trained investigators with the intention to improve crime solution efficiency and crime clearance efficiency.”
