Police seize more than P1 million worth of shabu in Rizal drug ops

Three separate police operations in Binangonan and Antipolo City,Rizal resulted in the confiscation of more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu.
The office of Rizal Police Provincial Office director, Col. Rainerio De Chavez, said five persons were arrested in anti-drugs operations conducted from Oct. 3 to 6.
In Antipolo City, a woman yielded some 30.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P207,400 during a buy-bust operation on Oct. 6.
A separate drug sting in Antipolo City on Oct. 4 resulted in the arrest of two persons and seizure of P510,000 worth of the suspected illegal drug in Barangay Mayamot.
In Binangonan, two male suspects were caught in the act of selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a police personnel who posed as a buyer during a drug sting at the New Public Market in Barangay Tagpos, Binangonan on Oct. 3.
The two suspects yielded 51.1 grams of the illegal drugs worth around P374,680.
All five suspects were set to be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
