Meanwhile, PAGASA is still monitoring the Low Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) which is 1,310 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.

Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said the LPA still has a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours but may possibly enter PAR on Sunday, Oct. 8.

PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to thunderstorms will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the country in the afternoon and evening.

In the next three days, Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of rain showers due to thunderstorms, said PAGASA.

PAGASA warned against flash floods and landslides in high-risk areas during severe thunderstorms. (Lizst Torres Abello)
