Following their sorry loss against University of the Philippines, the Red Warriors recovered in the last period to bounce back and improved 2-1 in the standings.
Wilson delivered a team-high 15 points, while Momowei had a double-double performance of 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Down 50-36 in the third period, UE staged a finishing 31-10 kick to keep FEU winless in three outings.
FEU greeted the payoff period with a double-digit lead of 50-40.
However, UE had gotten back on its feet at this point.
With less than two minutes to spare, the Tamaraws finally managed to shoot two field goals.
Despite Jorick Bautista’s last-minute efforts to rescue FEU with back-to-back three-pointers, UE held on until the final buzzer.
LJay Gonzales paced FEU with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Mo Faty had 10 points as the Tamaraws sank 0-3 in the standings.
