House Deputy Majority Leader ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo sure can, and he's talking about none other than the country’s very own Gilas Pilipinas.

Tulfo joined the many online revelers following Gilas' gold medal victory in the men's basketball finals of the 19th Asian Games by posting a congratulatory message on Facebook.

"Congratulations, Gilas Pilipinas! 🇵🇭🥇 Best Basketball Team sa buong Asya! (Best basketball team from the whole of Asia!)" Tulfo wrote.

"Pinatunayan nyo ang pusong Pinoy. 💪❤️ (You proved the heart of a Filipino)," added the neophyte lawmaker.

The Philippine national basketball team last won Asian Games gold way back in 1962.
