Changan is moving forward with its vision of giving the Filipino an entirely new smart driving experience with its new partnership with Inchcape Philippines. Inchcape adds Changan, one of the top 4 automotive brands in China, to its already expansive portfolio.

To celebrate the new partnership, Changan is also introducing its latest model, the X7 Plus. This seven-seater SUV is the brand’s offering in the large SUV category.

The X7 Plus is identified by its dynamic, jewel-like grille pattern. It is framed by narrow multi-tier LED headlamps with matrix LED daytime running lights. The rest of a body features graceful curves that form a stylish silhouette from front to rear, ending with a continuous LED strip at the rear as tail lamps. Sporty details include red accents to break the single-tone colorway, a shark fin antenna, a chrome-plated ornamental exhaust tip, and 19-inch air turbine alloy wheels.

Inside, the X7 offers a spacious interior finished in premium ebony black, depicting upscale minimalism, with a multi-tier dashboard with piano black, brushed metal, and plush padding.

The driver and passenger seats have power electric adjustors (six-way for the driver and four-way for the passenger), with a built-in manual heating and cooling system. Second and third row seats offer generous legroom and flat flooring, while the cargo hold boasts of exceptional space, especially when both rows are folded down flat.

Powering the vehicle is a Bluecore 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual--clutch transmission with Triptonic function. Together, it produces 185-horsepower and 300-Nm of torque.

What sets Changan apart is its built-in technology. Everything is digital with the X7, with most of the car’s settings integrated into the 12.3-inch high-definition Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch screen monitor. The system is powered by CarAuto and features hands-free calling, phone mirroring for both Apple iOS and Android devices, navigation, and more.

Select system controls can also be manipulated, such as Custom Car Mode Selection, Car Lights Configuration, Car Alerts, Air-Conditioning, Driver Support, and Vehicle Diagnostics.
