According to the police report, the suspect had done multiple suspicious transactions inside a bank on Sta. Monica Street in Ermita, around 8:45 p.m. on Monday.
Police also said that the suspect used different kinds of ATM cards for money withdrawal in the branches of the bank in Malate and Ermita.
They added that the suspect had failed to withdraw money from the bank.
Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon, MPD chief, said the suspect posted bail and was released on Oct. 5.
The confiscated ATM cards will be brought to the Chinese Embassy to locate the owners as police said that all of the cards bear Chinese characters.
