2 more pro fights for Marcial before Paris Olympics

HANGZHOU, China – Asian Games silver medal winner Eumir Marcial plans to return to the US before the end of the month or early in November for his fifth professional fight.

There are no details yet but the fight is likely to happen in December.

“Babalik muna ako sa US for another fight. Kailangan more exposure para sa Paris Olympics,” said Marcial.

If plans push through, Marcial, who is under the Manny Pacquiao Promotions, said he will have another fight early next before training for the Paris Olympics.

The prized fighter from Zamboanga gained a berth to the Paris Games after advancing to the final of the men’s light heavyweight in the 19t Asian Games where he lost to a Chinese opponent.

Marcial fought and won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Games two years while still competing in the middleweight class.
