BSKE candidates in Binangonan join calls for peaceful Oct. 30 elections


Candidates for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections 2023 in Binangonan joined the call of the government for an orderly and peaceful conduct of the elections on October 30.

During the activity held at the Casimiro A. Ynares Sr. Auditorium in Barangay Calumpang on October 4, Binangonan Mayor Cesar Ynares lauded the candidates from the town’s 40 villages for signifying their desire for peaceful elections. 

Acting Binangonan Election Officer Kristoffer Olympia, various leaders and representatives of the religious sector, military and other government agencies based in the town witnessed the peace covenant signing.

Prior to the covenant signing, the candidates, including those from the island villages, joined the “Unity Walk” in the vicinity of the municipal hall towards the auditorium.

Rizal Police director, Col. Rainero De Chavez was represented by his deputy director, Lt. Col. Roderick Tonga, in the event.

Mayor Ynares also stressed the importance of unity of the candidates towards achieving a peaceful election on October 30.
