The Pasay City police conducted simultaneous anti-criminality law enforcement operations (SACLEO) leading to the arrest of three persons for illegal possession of drugs on Friday, Oct. 6.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, identified the suspects as Juancho Estanislao, alias Choy, and Josephine and Erick Pastrana.
Uy said Estanislao was arrested by members of the Substation-2 at A. Luna corner Mabolo Street, Barangay 39, Zone 5, Pasay City.
He said personnel of Substation-2 were conducting patrol when they chanced upon the suspect. Rcovered from him was one small heat-sealed transparent sachet containing shabu weighing 1.60 grams amounting to P10,880.
The city police chief said the Pastrana suspects were arrested by members of Substation 6 along Ascano St. Barangay 176, Malibay, Pasay City.
Confiscated from the suspects were 13 heat-sealed transparent sachets containing about 4 grams of shabu and amounting to P27,200.
He said the suspects were immediately detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest and were charged with illegal possession of drugs.
Uy reiterated their commitment to the anti-drugs campaign and assured the public of their unwavering efforts in keeping the city drug-free.
