The Zamboanga Hermosa Festival, touted as the biggest festival in Region 9 or Zamboanga Peninsula, is a yearly activity in honor of Zamboanga City patroness Nuestra Señora La Virgen del Pilar (Our Lady of the Pillar).

Activities for the fiesta started on September 21 and these will be held until October 15.

The fiesta culminates on October 12 with a procession and pontifical Mass in honor of the city’s patroness.

Other fiesta activities include a street dance competition, a parade of lights, grand opening salvo, beauty pageants, and sporting competitions.
