Lyceum guns for its fifth straight win when it tackles Arellano in the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament on Friday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Shawn Umali and Co. will try to maintain the Pirates' pristine 4-0 record as they face the Chiefs at 2 p.m.

In the second game, reigning champion Letran seeks to end a three-game losing skid against longtime rival San Beda at 4 p.m.

Coming off an 83-72 win over San Sebastian last Tuesday, Lyceum stakes its unbeaten run against Arellano which was badly beaten by Perpetual, 85-66, on the same playdate.

The Pirates are expected to lean on the broad shoulders of Umali, who registered an all-around effort of 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and four blocks.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, remain winless in three games, despite the strong showing from Lorenz Capulong, Jeadan Ongotan and Jade Talampas.
