Muntinlupa public schools to have blended learning on World Teachers’ Day, BSKE

All in-person classes in Muntinlupa public elementary and secondary schools will shift to blended learning modalities on three dates in October and November.

This is based on a memorandum issued by the Department of Education (DepEd), which mandated the implementation of blended learning modalities on Oct. 5 in celebration of World Teachers’ Day, and Oct. 31 and Nov. 3 to complete the teachers’ election-related duties for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) slated on Oct. 30.

The blended learning modalities include modular distance and asynchronous and will also cover classes under the Alternative Learning System (ALS).

Muntinlupa Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline Ladines issued a memorandum for the celebration of World Teachers’ Day in Muntinlupa on Oct. 5.

A school-based celebration of the event will be held on Oct. 5 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. while a division celebration will be held on the same date from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Muntinlupa Sports Center in Barangay Tunasan.

The celebration will be attended by Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Rep. Jaime Fresnedi and city councilors.
