LUCENA CITY, Quezon – The National Commission on Senior Citizens (NCSC) and SM City-Lucena conducted a medical mission for senior citizens in line with National Elderly Week on Thursday, October 5, at the SM City-Lucena Event Center here.

Hundreds of senior citizens from Barangays 2 and 3 in this city availed of medical, dental, eye checkup, and referral letters for hospitalization.
Commissioner Ricardo Rainier Cruz said that the NCSC will also go to other places to conduct medical missions for senior citizens.
The medical mission with the theme “Balik Kalinga kay Lolo at Lola” was also supported by the Office of Senior Citizen Affairs, City Health Office, and Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth).
