Las Piñas PESO holds free orientation on S. Korea job opportunities

The Las Piñas Public Employment Service Office (PESO) conducted free orientation for residents seeking employment opportunities in South Korea.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said 200 residents attended the free orientation held at the Verdant covered court on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

Aguilar said the free orientation was aimed at equipping the attendees with comprehensive understanding of overseas employment.

She said the orientation covers the procedural guidelines, necessary qualifications, cultural assimilation and diverse employment sectors that are in demand in South Korea.

The mayor said the initiative reflects the enduring partnership between the Philippines and South Korea in fostering employment opportunities and cultural exchange.

Aguilar said that with the orientation, the city government stays committed to providing viable employment opportunities, both local and abroad, to its constituents.
