K-pop idol group Seventeen sold 11 million copies of their albums in the first nine months of 2023.

According to Korea’s Circle Chart, Seventeen’s album sales from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30 totaled 11,043,265 copies.

The total was largely attributable to the Seventeens’ 10th mini-album “FML,” released last April, which amassed over 6.2 million sales as of July and became the best selling album ever in K–pop history.

Their fourth album “Face the Sun,” released in April 2022, added to the record with 950,000 additional copies sold this year.

Seventeen initially took six and a half years to surpass the 10 million mark in album sales since their debut, finally unlocking the achievement in November 2021.

They are set to release their 11th mini-album “Seventeenth Heaven” on Oct. 23. With reference to the expression “Seventh Heaven,” meaning a state of extreme happiness, Seventeen will be celebrating their journey thus far and painting a joyous picture of more to come.

Seventeen bagged nominations at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards: Best Group and Best K-pop. Last year, they won Best New and Best Push.
