The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday, Oct. 5, denied an alleged "lockdown" of a hospital due to a Covid-19 patient.

In an advisory, DOH addressed a circulating message "falsely claiming" that a hospital is under lockdown due to a Covid-19 patient.
DOH said that this message was entirely "false" and that none of its hospitals is currently implementing a lockdown.
"All DOH hospitals remain fully-operational," the Health department added.
Meanwhile, DOH emphasized the importance of vigilance in sharing information and urged the public to obtain health news and updates exclusively from its official channels and platforms. (Zekinah Elize Espina)
