Man, 2 minors collared for bike theft in General Trias, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities collared a man and two minors for alleged theft in General Trias City on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspect as Jason B. Joaquin, 18, and the children in conflict with the law (CICLs) as alias Marcco, 16, and alias Hanz, 14.

Initial investigation showed that the group allegedly stole two mountain bikes worth P25,000.

Authorities apprehended alias Marcco, who revealed the addresses of Joaquin and alias Hanz, leading to their arrest.

General Trias City Police Station told the Manila Bulletin that the CICLs have been turned over to a Department of Social Welfare and Development shelter.

Joaquin, however, is now under police custody and is facing theft charges.
