Rob Gomez opens up on rumored romance with Herlene Budol

There is ongoing talk about Rob Gomez supposedly playing sweet music with beauty queen-actress Herlene Budol, this, not long after the actor made headlines following his controversial split from the mother of his child, beauty queen Shaila Rebortera.

Rob has since come out to clear the air on the matter, maintaining he and Herlene are mere buddies.

“Si Herlene po, actually, I like to believe na magkaibigan kami," he said. "Tropang tunay nga po yung describe niya sa akin."

About the talk, he surmised, “Siguro dahil sobrang close lang namin and we are very comfortable with each other. Nakikita lang siguro on a social media na baka there is something more pero so far, wala pa po."

But is romance between them a possibility?

Rob answered, “Siya po ay napakaganda at napakabait na babae. Madami po siyang pinanindigan na pinanindigan ko din, at natutuwa ako sa pagtrato niya sa mga tao around her. So, who wouldn’t fall in love with her, right?"

As to Shaira, Rob would rather keep silent.

He said, “I don’t want to speak about it. I don’t wanna come up guilty or defensive. I just want to be a gentleman right now. Stand tall as the guy I am, and pay much respect to everyone who’s watching, paying attention."

“We live in a world where people can say anything about anyone at any time. Oftentimes it’s meant with skepticism. So, I just don’t wanna add to it," he ended.
