It becomes a time for catching up over shared meals, trying a loved one’s recipe, sharing inside jokes with siblings, and enjoying a simple feast together as a family,” Chong shared. “It is uniquely Filipino; itong act ng pagsasalo-salo ay nagbibigay-daan sa atin na magkakasama-sama, kahit anong klaseng pamilya meron tayo.” For the many families who attended the celebration, home-cooked meals will surely taste even better after the CDO Family Salo-Salo.
