2 men from Davao City found dead in Maguindanao del Sur

DATU ANGGAL MIDTIMBANG, Maguindanao del Sur (PNA) – Police found the decomposing bodies of two men placed inside cement sacks on a barangay road here on Wednesday morning, October 4.

Police Major Jun Olis, Datu Anggal Midtimbang police chief, identified the fatalities as Eugene Michael Tenazas Jr. of Matina District and Rodford S. Uy, 45, of Ulas District, both in Davao City.

They were identified through identification cards recovered from their clothing.

Olis said his office received a phone call about what they believed were bodies found beside the highway in Barangay Mapayag at 6 a.m.

“It appeared the bodies have been buried but unearthed and abandoned beside the road,” Olis said in the vernacular.
