CALAYAN, Cagayan – The Police Regional Office-2 said that two persons were injured in the magnitude-5.7 earthquake that rocked Calayan, Cagayan on Wednesday, October 4.
Police identified the victims as Prince Aiden Daitol, 11, and Lorenza Bumagat Gumarad, 38, both of Barangay Centro 2.
Daitol sustained a head injury while Gumarad suffered from generalized anxiety disorder.
They were taken to the Calayan Infirmary.
The Calayan police station and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office-Calayan are currently assessing the damage caused by the earthquake.
