15 hurt as jeepney falls off bridge in Nueva Vizcaya

BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya – Fifteen persons were injured after a passenger jeepney fell off a bridge here on Wednesday, October 4.

Police said a Toyota Hi-Ace van driven by Elmer Pimentel Fabian, 64, bound to Manila slowed down to turn left.

The jeepney driven by Ambrocio Ramel Jr. with 14 passengers bound for Tuguegarao City overtook an unidentified vehicle and hit the van.

The jeepney rammed the barricade plunged into the side of a house below the bridge.

Ramel and his passengers sustained injuries and were taken by first responders to the hospital.
