“On October 30, Jungkook's ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ became the fastest song to reach 1 Billion streams in Spotify history,” Spotify announced on Oct. 31.

“Seven” was released on July 14 and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and spent weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts.

Last August, Guinness World Records declared that the explicit version of “Seven” emerged as “the most streamed track on Spotify in one week (male) with 89,748,171 streams.”

“On the first day of release, "Seven" logged 15,995,378 plays to become the second most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours by a male vocalist, just shy of the 16,103,849 recorded by Harry Styles’s ‘As It Was’ on 1 April 2022,” it added.

It added, “The song has therefore gone on to become the fastest time for a music track to reach 100 million streams on Spotify (male), registering 100 million filtered streams on Spotify by 21 July 2023 – the eighth day after its worldwide release on 14 July – according to Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global.’”

Jungkook will release his studio album “Golden” on Nov. 3.
