CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4-A declared on Tuesday, October 31, the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon area on Monday, October 30, a success.

The dedication and tireless efforts of the members of the police force, other government agencies, together with the support of the community, have contributed to a generally peaceful electoral process, allowing voters to exercise their democratic rights without major disruptions, PRO 4-A chief Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas said.
“Throughout the day, a total of 9,696 PRO 4-A personnel were deployed to polling precincts and election areas of concern, ensuring a secure environment for the voters. The extensive deployment and stringent security measures have led to a calm and organized voting process,” Lucas added.
Proactive measures implemented by the PRO 4-A kept incidents of vote-buying to a minimum with only four recorded incidents and strict actions were taken against those who violated the law, he said.
Lucas said the enforcement of the liquor ban was carried out effectively with the arrest of 18 individuals.
"The public's cooperation in refraining from the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the days leading up to and during the election was greatly appreciated."
"The successful conduct of the elections was not only a testament to the commitment of PRO 4-A but also a reflection of the responsible citizens of the region and the cooperation of candidates, voters, and other stakeholders," Lucas said.
Lucas commended the men and women of PRO 4-A and all those involved in the election security operations for their professionalism and commitment to upholding the principles of democracy. “Naging matagumpay ang ating eleksyon dahil sa inyong suporta at dedikasyon sa inyong serbisyo. Ipinapaabot ko ang taos-puso kong pasasalamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at tumulong sa araw na ito,” he said.
