Police, security, medical teams deployed to cemeteries in Muntinlupa
Police and personnel from the Muntinlupa City government have been deployed to cemeteries as people observe this year’s Undas.
Filipinos remember their departed loved ones by visiting cemeteries on All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls’ Day on Nov. 2.

“Prayoridad ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ang ligtas at tahimik na Undas kaya puspusan din ang paghahanda natin para dito (Priority of the city government is a safe and peaceful Undas, that is why our preparation for this is in full swing),” Mayor Ruffy Biazon posted on Facebook on Oct. 31.
The city government will have “Libreng Sakay” (free rides) on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Susana Heights road to Everest Hills Memorial Park and vice versa.
Biazon said personnel from the City Health Office and the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management are ready to give first aid if needed.
Police and personnel from the Public Order and Safety Office, and City Security office have been deployed to cemeteries and other strategic locations to ensure the safety of the public.
Barangays have water stations while the Bureau of Fire Protection will be on standby to give assistance.
The Department of Health reminded the public not to bring children to cemeteries to prevent injuries and diseases caused by overcrowding.
