Police say village polls in Central Luzon peaceful, orderly
CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 declared the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on Monday, October 30, in Central Luzon peaceful and orderly.

PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said no election-related incidents were reported in the region.
"The heightened presence of police and military personnel, in collaboration with the Comelec and our partner agencies, as well as extensive information dissemination and community engagement activities conducted by our field commanders, significantly contributed to the successful and orderly conduct of the 2023 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in Region 3," Hidalgo said.
Hidalgo said the region had 47 identified election areas of concern but no election-related incidents occurred in these places.
He thanked the dedicated men and women of the PRO-3, the Comelec, and the Armed Forces for their outstanding performance in their election duties.
Hidalgo acknowledged the valuable support of media practitioners and the general public which played a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure elections.
