“The uninterrupted power supply for the BSKE is a result of meticulous planning, continuous monitoring, and the hard work of our dedicated team," said MORE Power President and Chief Executive Officer Roel Castro on Tuesday, October 31.
MORE Power’s Task Force BSKE signed off at 5:20 a.m. on October 31 as their task of overseeing electrical-related concerns was finished.
Castro assured Commission on Elections-Iloilo City head Reiner Layson that all hands are on the deck for the BSKE.
“The execution of MORE Power's comprehensive strategies and integrated plans during such a critical event highlights the company's determination to keeping the lights on and the electoral processes running smoothly,” said Castro.
MORE Power Vice President for Network Development and Operations Bernard del Castillo said that Task Force BSKE was deployed to 62 polling centers, the Iloilo City Action and Response (I-CARE) Centers, and the Comelec-Iloilo City office.
"We actively monitored field activities, our response teams, linemen, and team leaders remained on standby until the completion of the vote counting process,” Del Castillo added.
