Korean singer Moon Jong-up returns after more than 2 years with new album
Korean singer Moon Jong-up, who debuted in boy band B.A.P, returned to the music scene after two years and three months with a new album.
Moon Jong-up released his second mini-album “Some” on Oct. 30 after dropping “Us” in 2021. The new album was expected to capture fans by showcasing his musical growth and mature masculinity.

“I had many things happen over the course of 2 years and 3 months. I want to express my gratitude to the fans who waited for me first,” said Moon Jong-up.
He added, “As it's been a while since my comeback, I've made an effort to showcase myself as much as possible. I hope to have a successful 2023 without any regrets.”
“Some” encapsulates Moon Jong-up’s musical style and features five new songs. The title track, “X.O.X,” in which he participated in writing, contains lyrics inspired by his signature theme, the Moon (달), combined with analog synth sounds.
“Fine” is a heartfelt song in which he expresses his gratitude and affection towards fans who have consistently supported him over the years. The other songs featured in the album are “Stuck,” “Common,” and “Common (English Version).”
Moon Jong-up debuted in B.A.P in January 2012 and became a solo artist in May 2020 with the release of his first single “Headache.”
In February 2023, he participated as a member of team 24시 in the popular JTBC show “피크타임 (Peak Time), where he secured 1st place in the global individual vote and helped his team achieve third place overall.
